There's no chart. She starts with a colour and a feeling, and decides the next row when she gets there a diamond leans, a border breaks, a pink interrupts, because that's what the rug wanted that morning. It's the closest thing weaving has to improvised music. It's also why a Boujaad can never be repeated: there's nothing written down to repeat. Not by us, not by another workshop, not even by her. Every rug in this collection is the only recording of its own performance.
Ours are new. That's rarer than it sounds.
Most Boujaads sold online are vintage, decades old, worn soft, colours faded to rose. Ours are the other kind: woven recently, full pile, colours at full volume, fresh wool that hasn't met a floor yet.
Last month
Seven found their homes.
None can come back — there is no pattern to reweave, no batch to reorder.
This week, it's already made. Every rug on this page is finished, photographed, and ready: we roll it, wrap it, and hand it to the courier, insured door to door with tracking from the moment it leaves. It reaches you in 4–8 business days.
What if it's too much for my room?
Then it comes back within 14 days of delivery, full refund, original condition, no guilt trip. Return shipping is yours unless it arrived damaged. A rug this alive should be fully loved in your home or not live there at all; that's the entire policy.
Can I order another rug like one that sold?
No, and honestly, neither could the weaver. A Boujaad is improvised at the loom with no chart, so there's nothing to rewind and weave again; when one sells, its design leaves the world with it.
